Description: [Taught alternate years 2003 - 2004] Topics in set theory such as functions, relations, direct products, transfinite induction and recursion, cardinal and ordinal arithmetic; related topics such as axiomatic systems, the development of the real number system, recursive functions. Graduate-level requirements include more extensive problem sets or advanced projects.
