How to automatically create nested numbered headings?

Answer

TWiki does not yet directly support numbered headings. You get numbered headings by defining topic variables ( * Set NH2 = ...) containing SpreadSheetPlugin formulae, and by starting headings with ---%NH2%, ---+++   .1., etc. Numbered headings are assumed to start with level 2. Edit the topic or look at the raw text to see how this works.

Table of contents:

1. Apple

Written as:
---%NH2% Apple

1.1. Fuji

Written as:
---%NH3% Fuji

1.2. Delicious

Written as:
---%NH3% Delicious

1.2.1. Red Delicious

Written as:
---%NH4% Red Delicious

1.2.2. Golden Delicious

Are they really delicious?

1.3. Granny Smith

2. Citrus
